Coverage
Areas we cover across Cardiff
We work right across the city — 30 Cardiff areas in all, grouped by postcode district below — plus the towns and villages immediately around it. Housing stock changes a lot between them, and that genuinely changes the job, so there is a note on each.
Central and east Cardiff
4 areas-
Cathays CF24
Dense Victorian terraces and a very high proportion of shared student housing, so a lot of our work here is fire doors, door closers and hard-wearing second fix for HMO licensing.
-
Roath CF24
Bay-fronted Victorian and Edwardian terraces with deep alcoves either side of the chimney breast — the classic Cardiff alcove cupboard and bookcase job.
-
Adamsdown CF24
Small two-up two-down terraces off Clifton Street where every inch counts, so understairs storage and built-in shelving do a lot of heavy lifting.
-
Splott CF24
Long straight terraced streets built for the steelworks, with narrow back lanes — everything is carried in through the front, which we plan around.
City centre and the Bay
1 area-
Cardiff Bay CF10
Apartments and converted waterfront buildings, where the job is usually booked around a service lift, a loading bay and a concierge rather than a driveway.
Inner west and south Cardiff
4 areas-
Grangetown CF11
Big Victorian terraces with high ceilings and long back additions, so kitchens here often need units scribed to walls that are anything but straight.
-
Canton CF11
Edwardian bays and side-passage terraces along the Cowbridge Road corridor, where window seats and bay-window joinery come up regularly.
-
Pontcanna CF11
Larger period houses with original features worth matching, so new skirting, architrave and panelling is usually made to copy what is already there.
-
Riverside CF11
Terraced housing backing onto the Taff, with a lot of rental stock and therefore steady door hanging, lock and repair work.
West Cardiff
5 areas-
Llandaff CF5
Period property around the cathedral and the green, where joinery has to be sympathetic and is often replacing something original.
-
Fairwater CF5
Post-war semis and estate housing with decent gardens — a lot of decking, fencing and garden room work in the summer months.
-
Danescourt CF5
Seventies and eighties estate housing with regular room shapes and reliable stud walls to fix into.
-
Ely CF5
Large inter-war housing estate with generous plots, where kitchen refits and external carpentry are the bulk of what we do.
-
Culverhouse Cross CF5
Detached and link-detached family housing, often with integral garages being converted into rooms that need first and second fix.
North Cardiff
8 areas-
Llandaff North CF14
Compact terraces and semis close to the Taff Trail, with plenty of loft conversions needing slope-fitted storage.
-
Heath CF14
Thirties semis near the hospital with square bay windows and useful loft space above.
-
Birchgrove CF14
Inter-war semis with original picture rails and deep skirting that new joinery is usually matched to.
-
Whitchurch CF14
A village centre surrounded by larger semis and detached houses, with kitchens and fitted wardrobes making up most of the work.
-
Rhiwbina CF14
Includes the Garden Village conservation area, where alterations are watched closely and replacement joinery has to match the original profiles.
-
Llanishen CF14
Wide streets of thirties and fifties semis with long gardens — good for decking, garden rooms and full kitchen refits.
-
Lisvane CF14
Larger detached properties with the space for full media walls, boot rooms and substantial bespoke joinery.
-
Thornhill CF14
Newer estate housing up the hill, where fitted storage and loft-slope wardrobes are the common requests.
North-east Cardiff
4 areas-
Penylan CF23
Larger inter-war semis and detached houses with generous bedrooms, where full-wall fitted wardrobes and home office fit-outs are the usual request.
-
Cyncoed CF23
Substantial detached houses with big rooms, where media walls, studies and floor-to-ceiling joinery are worth doing properly.
-
Pentwyn CF23
Seventies estate housing with timber-framed internal walls, which changes how and where fitted units are fixed back.
-
Llanedeyrn CF23
Estate housing of similar age and construction to neighbouring Pentwyn, with plenty of kitchen and flooring work.
East Cardiff
3 areas-
St Mellons CF3
Large estate with a lot of newer stock, where flooring, doors and fitted wardrobes make up most of what we fit.
-
Rumney CF3
Inter-war and post-war housing along Newport Road with straightforward access and off-street parking.
-
Llanrumney CF3
Post-war estate housing with regular layouts, good for kitchen refits and full second-fix work.
North-west villages
1 area-
Radyr & Morganstown CF15
Larger family houses and village property, often with loft conversions and outbuildings to fit out.

We also cover the surrounding area
These sit outside the city boundary but are close enough that we work in them regularly. They are listed separately rather than padded into the list above, because overstating a coverage radius helps nobody — least of all you, waiting for someone who was never really going to travel.

If your area is not listed at all, it is still worth a call. If it is too far for us to do the job properly we will say so straight away rather than string you along.
